Encounter' breaks out in Tral | KNO

Tral, May 15 (KNO): An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Tral area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that security forces cordoned off Nader area of Tral after receiving specific inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area. As security forces zeroed in on the suspected spot, hiding terrorists fired upon forces, which was retaliated to, triggering an encounter, he said. "Encounter has started at Nader, Tral area of #Awantipora. Police and security forces are on the job.
